1998 Château Haut Brion, First Growth, and from Pessac Leognan. Rich palate of menthol, tar and blackcurrant. Very refined and fruity. Acidity quite high as is the tannin Wonderful nose with hints of mocca and caramel, ripe dark fruit and some smoke. Very fresh due to the high acidity, and perfectly integrated tannins. A magnificent wine!
