
Selection of various 5 types of Affinee cheeses from different families range from run of house selection by Edith: such as soft, semi soft, hard, semi hard to blue cheeses. (eg: Brie, Camembert, Bûchette de Chèvre, Comte, Bleu d'Auvergne or Fourme d'Ambert, Mimolette 3 to 4 months, Emmental, Parmigiano Reggiano 28 months, or Swiss Gruyere or Morbier). All cheeses are based on the selection by cheese master, Madame Edith Lai-Bompard. Do try our Orange Confit to accomplish with the cheese platter. Wine Pairing (Wine and Cheese DUO)
Option 1: Recommend to pair with a boutique Merlot Red Wine, Pierre Jean, a 100% Merlot red wine, medium bodied, easy drinking. Well pair with some of the soft and medium hard cheeses.
Option 2: Premium collection, DUO with one of the rare label from St Estèphe Château Sociando Mallet 1996, blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc gives a much more fuller bodied and more character, great finishing, ideal with some of the aged hard cheeses.
